Luke 8:26-39
In this account, the demons and pigs represent all that is unholy and unclean in our lives – all that hurts us, all that shames us, all that breaks our proper relationships with God and people. It’s a bad day for all of this when we meet Jesus face to face, but it is the best day for us!
- There is no evil that Jesus fears.
- There is no evil that Jesus ignores.
- There is no evil that Jesus cannot cast out.
