Jesus was sent into the world to be the Savior of all mankind.  The road to glory was paved with pain and suffering, but Jesus was committed to finishing what he had started.  His final words from the cross reflect an acknowledgement that he had accomplished what he was sent to do.

“It is finished.”  (John 19:30)

• A statement of fulfilment.
• A statement of completion.
• A statement of perfection.
• A statement of victory.

“Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”  (Luke 23:46)

• A declaration of commitment to the Heavenly Father.
• A declaration of confidence in the Heavenly Father.

In life or in death, are you willing to fully commit yourself to the One you fully trust?
