2 Kings 13:20-21
Some time after the Prophet Elisha’s death, an Israelite funeral party came under threat by a marauding band of Moabites. In their haste, they threw the body of the deceased into the tomb where Elisha had been buried. When the corpse touched his bones, the man came back to life!
What might the life and death of Elisha teach us about developing a long-lasting spiritual legacy?
- Our spiritual legacy begins when we “sell out” for God.
- Our spiritual legacy develops as we humbly aspire to serve God to the fullest.
- Our spiritual legacy is set when we serve with perseverance to the end.
- A strong spiritual legacy can make a difference even when we are gone!
