Revelation 1:1-20

In the first chapter of Revelation, we are given a glimpse of the glorified Jesus Christ.  It’s probably time we update our mental image of Him!  The One who walks among the golden lampstands is our Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer.  He is also the authority and Lord of our church, and of our lives.

• His Clothes (v. 13) – Jesus is the Great High Priest drawing people to God.
• His Hair & Eyes (v. 14) – He sees and judges with the wisdom of the ages.
• His Feet (v. 15) – He stands firm and is able to crush his enemies.
• His Voice (v. 15) – He commands our complete attention.
• His Hand (v. 16) – Jesus protects and guides the leaders of his churches.
• His Mouth (v. 16) – The Word of Christ is powerful and effective.
• His Face (v. 16) – Jesus shines with the glory of the Heavenly Father.

So in light of this description, who is Jesus Christ to you?
