Nehemiah 2
In chapter 1 we learned how Nehemiah, the Jewish cupbearer to the king of Persia, learned about the terrible condition of Jerusalem and the returned exiles who were living there. His heart was broken by the news, and he learned to refocus his priorities on the things that matter most to God. In chapter 2, Nehemiah began sharing the burden God had laid on his heart.
