2 Corinthians 4:7  “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.”

The Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Corinth about his ministry of sharing the good news of God’s saving work through Jesus Christ.  He called the gospel message a “treasure” delivered to the world in “jars of clay.”  God’s plan to use frail and imperfect people as His messengers helps to magnify the greatness of His love and power.
