In the weeks leading up to Easter, we will be focusing our attention on the seven things that Jesus said while hanging on the cross.  They fall into the categories of Words of Compassion, Words of Anguish, and Words of Accomplishment.  Today we will consider Jesus’ Words of Compassion.

Jesus’ compassion offers healing to those who are hurting.  John 19:25-27

Jesus’ compassion offers forgiveness to sinners.  Luke 23:32-34

Jesus’ compassion offers heaven to those who are unworthy.  Luke 23:35-43
